Also, we are Cambridge International School. For Grades 7 and 8, BTB School uses the Cambridge Lower Secondary Programme with Checkpoint Examinations at the end of Grade 8. Cambridge Checkpoint examinations provide a transferable indication of academic progress for these students.
The Cambridge Lower Secondary 2 Programme is used for Grade 9 and 10 with the IGCSE Examinations at the end of Grade 10. These courses at BTB School are taught using “student-centered” methodologies and are implemented by highly-qualified, trained teachers.
In our classes we are happy to report a close relationship between teachers and students, and we work hard towards developing strong ties between school and the home.
At BTB School, the respect towards other people, other ethnics, other religions and other languages, is a living example of the implementation of another aspect of the IBO’s Mission Statement that ‘other people, with their differences, can also be right’.
Finally, we concur with the third IBO Mission Statement that our school aims to ‘develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural and understanding and respect’.
Welcome to BTB School where our students are certain to enjoy their stay – be it for a short while or for the whole 12 years!
